For music, all you need is a big boombox. Right? If you want to get really fancy, you can rent a speaker system and have it set up. If you want a dance, I think there are such things as huge sheets of wood that you can just set over the lawn. Portable dance floors, if you will. Maybe call Monita's in Vernon about that one.
You must have forgotten; the first couple days of a perm look awful. Just don't wash it or you'll wreck it. Soon it will loosen up, and you'll get the hang of doing it too.
