Christmas is coming!

well I wonder if everyone eles is done there christmas shopping. I myself am done.. I have to get a couple of stocking stuffers and 2 more little things for Drew.
I have made gifts for all my friends and family.
I"m very excited about this christmas. Its my first married christmas. And will be the first one with my family in a couple of years.
And I am so ready for it!
um yeah thats about it

our new baby

can't decide what to name her yet. we had some names picked out but now we have seen a recent pic of her the names just don't suit her.
but yes this is our little girl. she is so sweet. the lady who is raising her said she is cute and loves people. so that is a bonus!

car.

well i took the car off of the road today.. it was the most horrible think I have ever done (not really.. but maybe) but yes. I miss my independence and it hasn't been 12 hours yet!
so yes. We decided that having a car was much to expensive. we'll save a few hundred a month just on the car alone. so yeah perfect with christmas on its way.
I am so excited about christmas! this will be the first christmas with my parents in a few years. then on boxing day we will go to Drews parents place. it will be fun!
I have been making a lot of earings and knitting a lot. maybe everyone will get homemade stuff this year.
only a couple of weeks until we get our bird! I have a couple of names picked out.. sprinkles, broccoli and flower... not sure if it will be a male or female.
but here is a pic of it the one with the blue.
but yes I keep on buying toys and perches for it and a nice big cage!
Muffy is doing great.. she'll be happier now that we don't have a car.. she hates car rides. backwards from most dogs.
Stinkfoot is great.. still fluffy and now more-so with winter coming.. she is very lovely. still to kissy though.
Drew is awsome. he is aceing classes and liking work. next week is his last week of classes and then just finals. he has 3. poor guy.
I like my job at petland still. and am picking up shifts.

Skype is.....

an internet phone!
you do need an mic. but its well worth it. its totally free and is clear as a phone. no delay or anything.. it is awsome.
so instead of haing to pay a million dollars to make longdistance calls you just make calls on your computer.. the computer even rings when you make a call. its really cool
I talk to gramma all the time on it!
well hopefully you all download it and pass the word. its well worth it!

parrotlets # 2

we are actually getting them from Vancouver. we have to go up on the 9th of December to grab them

parrotlets

well I thought that I would show people the newest addition to our zoo.
we are ordering this little guy from Victoria. He is a Parrotlet.
a little about parrotlets:
parrotlets are the smallest true parrot in the world weighing 30 grams
they are also very quiet. appropriate for a condo or appartment
Parrotlets can also talk. they can say small words and frases. but are wonderful at whistling back a tune to you. though you do have to listed for it since they are so quiet
they live between 20-25 years
they are solitary birds and will fight anything eles to get your attention
they are very very bright so they need lots of toys so they don't insaine and pluck themselves bald
until now we only new that they came in green. but we found someone in Victoria that breeds blue and yellow. so we are getting one of each. (in different cages)
this is sky.. and its actually his baby we are getting

hmm

I think that the title is the hardest part of a blog.
well Drew and I are taking our car off the road.. its just so much more economical.
also we are now on Skype.. I suggest that everyone gets it.. once you do download it and get a mic you can add us to your account.. out address is " D and K Galloway " so then after that feel free to call us at anytime.
I am loving my job!! I am doing really really well with it. learning a lot.. more then I thought I would.
Drew is doing great. Has a lot of homework and has decided that he hate German.
Keira and Matt are moving tomorrow. I hope they are doing great. I can't wait to visit there new place.

well can anyone find me a place to live? An ideal place is where you don't have to listen to the person beneath you talk and party and fart.. or anything.. a place where the land lords are above the age of 25? somewhere where people work and have schedules and sleep at night and not during the day?

This is our new kitten. We are trying to find a home for it righ tnow. we have named him Buttons.

We found him in our back yard with 2 other kittens

well now

its been over 4 months since I wrote anything at all in this blog.. so maybe I will use it as a little journal or something or other.
Drew is doing great he is working part time and has a crazy full course load at TRU here in Kamloops
I quit my last job and now work full time at Pet Land.
I am very excited.!
I still have a lot of animals.. Keira will soon be posting baby pics on her Blog and I"ll be posting animal pics on mine.
thats about it
I will keep this blog updated from now on.. But it's not quite a prommis
