a beautiful place on Salt Spring going for about $140,000 including 4 acers. this is the place that I want. it is so nice and cabbiny. and it comes with 4 acers and that is awsome in itself. 4 acers on Salt Spring!? Ahhhh just picture me out in the garden growin gmy own fruit and veggies!? I still think this place is way nicer baby. Your house is just dropped off in the woods with no yard. So there! Smootches
Speeches
Now I don't know who should say speeches at the wedding. We don't even know forsure if we are going to have groomsmen and bridesmaids. So yeah.. I can't even think of pro's and cons to having bridesmaids.. can anyone give me some ideas on why or why I shouldn't have a wedding party.. and If I don't have a wedding party who should I ask to do speeches.. I already asked Keira. and I think I"ll ask my dad. just because he's funny. but I don't know. Should we ask someone from Drew family to speak? I"m scared that they will tell everyone how the hate me and how we are to young to be married and blah blah blah. I think it would be nice if a couple of drews guests speak .. but very hesitant of his family speaking.
so yeah.. HEEEEELLP

moving on!
Hey!
Well nothing has happend lately. I had a root canal and my face is still sore after 2 days.
Me and Drew have made some plans now with what we want do do with our lives. And we have decided was that we both really really want to move to Salt Spring Island. If not Salt Spring then the island. Drew plans on teaching there.. We figure that by the time Drew graduates the hippies will have retired and Salt Spring will be hireing more teachers. I'll maybe be an artisan and have a daycare out of our home? Or work at a shop of some sort. I've gotten so excited about this plan and so has Drew. If drew can't get a job on salt spring then maybe we could live on saltspring and he can work in Vic? Neither of us know how long it takes to get from Salt Spring to Vic. but yeah. thats about it. We don't want to stay here. thats for sure. Manitoba has NO culture what so ever. but yup thats it.

need help
Hey everyone. I need your advice. Som of my co-workers want to have a bridal shower for me before my wedding in BC. But here's the thing.. Would it be rude of me to invite aunts and family to come to the shower and not to the wedding? I don't want them to think that they are only invited because I want a gift. So what should I do? Skip it all together? Because If I had a bridal shower without them I would only have like 3 people come. I know no one in Manitoba. So what should I do? Oh and then there is the other other family.. the gottfrieds that will want to do soemthing too I'm sure.. so should I have 2 bridal showers? (I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the gottfireds.. my biological father's family) I dont feel comfy with them and my mom's family mingling together it would be a little weird.
Ok I need help!

hi!
well I have given up on Canadian Tire. I couldn't even get to see my registry. So I have decided to go with Sears. Keira suggested it. But I never relized how expensive Sears was until now. we couldn't find anything under $30.00. Sorry if that is a bit high for anyone.. if it is.. just give us money!! (I am still determined to deture people from getting us gifts instead of money.. we need to get home from this wedding) but yes. so I am in the middle of setting up this registry. you can check it out at www.sears.ca click on cusomer service at the bottom of the home page then you can find me and Drews name.. if you can't find my name you can check under Drew Galloway.
well that seems to be about it! I hope you can find it

Some Stuff
Ok, i scrapped the old title, it'll no longer be a daily installment, but i'll reinvent myself with every entry, how exciting, I knew it would get interesting, and none of you thought i would live up to my claims. Did you even pay attention in my last entry? so you know what i'm referring to? I don't care really, i Like to pretend that this has some sort of nerdy following, not saying your a nerd if your reading this, unless it's me, which it almost certainly is exlcusively, me and kirsten that is, by the way, I hate those actors in the CIBC commercial where they're like: " will it be provence or tuscany?" *just the two of us....... Kirsten chimes in that she wants to retire to Tuscany, I agree, good thinking Kirsten. Hmm, well , that's all for now i suppose, oh I'll talk about the bus. CAnada has the kyoto protocol in effect now, and they want people to ride the bus, as opposed to driving the car, it's a great idea, and i'd do it, but I hate the bus system, it's absurd, how convenient is it when you have to wait for an hour in -25 and then pay two bucks each way. In Vancouver, you don't have such extreme weather, but the waites are just as long, the coverage is spread all over the place, service ends early, and the cherry on top is the four dollar fee you pay each way, jesus christ if you go to and from school that's eight bucks a day, providing you don't go anywhere else, if you go out after that's 16 dollars for 4 bus trips, of course if you do go out you have to end the night at ten cause the bus stops afterwards, but honestly, who spends 16 dollars a day on therir car. absurd,i hate you public transit, bikes are better. oh well, breathe, it's ok, allright.... oh yeah take the one ton challenge, bye. home sick
hello.
I"m home sick today, something is killing me slowly. And it hurts.
Keira talked about bubbles at my wedding. having everyone blowing them. but I don't have a noraml wedding.. there isn't a place for me and Drew to retreat to... So we wont be coming out of a church or anything. So any ideas on how to incorperate Bubbles into the wedding?
Any idea's about the wedding? like how are you suposed to do a seating plan? and how long are you suposed to sit at the dinner table for before the party? Niether me or Drew like to sit at the dinner table for long.. we eat in like 20 min when we go out for supper. and what about speaches?? we aren't having brides maids and stuff.. so who will make speaches? and when is the time for speaches?
Argh I'm so confused.. and sick.. caugh caugh
Oooh new news. on the 24th I start a root canal. then the thursday after that I get 3 fillings.. and then the thursday after that I get my root canal finnished. sounds like a great 3 weeks ahead of me!But that is about it.. Muffy went outside again lastnight! she caught on very quickly.. even though I think she fakes it so she can get a cookie.

Keeping up with Keira
Well I see that Keira has a million entries on her blogger. so I though that I would try to catch up. One of Keiras brides maids were asking about where people were getting there hair done.. I just want everyone to know that I don’t' want anyone to get there hair done. This is a small wedding and why look so formal for just a few people? Doesn't make that much sense to me. Instead of spending money on hair you can spend the money on Drew and I, harharhar.
Today Muffy went outside for the first time this winter! She has been crate training for the last day. Hopefully she will keep up the great work!
I worked at Superstore today. Very long day and have decided that I really just don't like going all that much. Yesterday I started a 7 day work day. I hate how they can get away with that.
No more on the wedding. I’ll be talking to my mom this weekend sometime to make some final plans. Oooh My Grammy is making the wedding cake for me and Drew to cut. and the cupcakes for all of the guests! I can't wait to eat them! I love cupcakes!

a nice evening
Today we decided to go out with another couple that Drewsy and I hang out with. We went to The Keg and had a huge plate of nacho's and a few mudslides... I highly recommend the nachos they are huge and are served on a pizza palate that is sizzling hot and full of cheese. I definately indulged today.. I'll have to jump back on my diet tomorrow morning. After out lovely appitizer we went to Ruckers and played tons of games. We got these huge sunglasses with out tickets. We'll have to take some pictures and add them to the webpage.
After Ruckers we went and got small pizza's to share and some cinna sticks.. I have decied that if there is a hell.. I am definately going to it. I haven't eaten so much in forever. We ended the night at Joes place and just drank and listened to music.

When Lover Met Bover
Hello everyone,
We thought this would be the easiest way to keep in touch with everyone about how we are doing and how our wedding plans are coming along.
First off Drew and I are doing very well. We are still maddly in love and having fun here in Brandon. Even though we don't plan on staying here much longer, Perhaps another year or two.
We have been trying to house train Muffy and been collecting plants.
Drew has been busy with school. Writing lots of essays and stuff like that.
I have been busy with work at Superstore. But in a couple of weeks I will be starting my new job at BCO.
Wedding plans have not changed much. Our wedding is still a very small gathering of a few friends and family. It will be held July 16th in Armstrong BC. With plans of 21 people in attendance we will be serving barbecued marinated salmon with cucumber and basil salsa, Spinach salad with seasonal fruit and poppy seed vinaigrette, orzo and vegetable salad with white wine vinaigrette, and Carrot salad with cumin and cinnamon vinaigrette.
Attire will be casual. Please make sure you wear something that is cool to wear outside in an Okanagan summer evening. A sundress will be perfect as long as you don't out dress me!
Though we are asking for money (we want to have a honeymoon) we will be registating threw Canadian Tire. And will post that information as soon as possible. If you want a mailing address feel free to leave a comment with an e-mail address and I will mail it to you.
thank you
Kirsten and Drew
